Frequently asked questions

We offer a variety of BMW motorbikes.
You can find our selection of models here.

All you need is a valid motorbike driving licence.
A driving licence from other countries is also accepted as long as you have not been in Germany for six months or longer.
If this is so, you will need an international driving licence.

The pick-up and return of our motorbikes is only possible at our locations.
You can find a selection of locations here.

The required deposit can be paid in advance by bank transfer or credit card.
(When paying by credit card, a fee of 3% will be added to the deposit amount)

The outstanding amount will be paid on pick-up and can be paid by debit-, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
We ask for your understanding that cash payment is not possible.

All our motorbikes are fully covered by comprehensive insurance and have a maximum deductible of 1.500,-€. Depending on the model, it is possible to reduce the excess to a possible maximum of 200,-€ for 9,90€ per calendar day.

With the exception of BMW sports models (e.g. BMW S 1000 XR), we do not charge a security deposit. The security deposit for sports models is 1.500,-€.

You cannot rent from us by the hour.
The shortest rental period is one day.

We charge the following fees for cancellations:

From booking up to 14 days before the start of the rental period: deposit payment
From 13 days to 24 hours before the start of the rental period: 40% of the rental price
24 hours before the start of the rental period: 70% of the rental price

If you would like to postpone your rental to another date, please contact us. No cancellation fees or rebooking costs will be charged for rebooking.

All our motorbikes are fully customised.

Depending on the model, we can add the following equipment to the motorbikes free of charge:
- Top case
- panniers
- BMW Connected Ride Cradle (mobile phone holder)

Please note that additional equipment can be provided on request. Please let us know with your enquiry for your desired motorbike which options and equipment you require.

It is possible to rent the following rider equipment on request:
- Motorbike suit and helmet for €100 per started rental week
- Helmet for 30,-€ per started rental week

Motorbike boots and gloves are not offered for hygienic reasons.

Rider equipment rental must be requested in advance.

If there is any damage to the motorbike that prevents you from continuing your journey, please contact us.

The following special rule applies to accidents:
We define an accident as a sudden, involuntary and external event resulting in damage to property and/or personal injury. In the event of an accident, theft, fire, damage to wild animals or material damage, please inform the police immediately. Afterwards, please also inform us about the incident and the course of events.

We also offer value vouchers or vouchers for motorbike rental, which can be applied to a rental at all of our locations.

Please note that vouchers can only be purchased directly from us. A voucher from BMW cannot be used with us.
