When going on a motorcycle trip, it's important to wear appropriate gear to ensure your safety and comfort. Here are some gear recommendations:
A DOT (Department of Transportation) approved full-face helmet is a must-have for any rider. It will protect your head in case of an accident.
A leather or textile riding jacket is a good option for protection against the elements and road rash. Make sure it fits well and has armor in the elbows, shoulders, and back.
Riding pants should also have armor in the knees and hips. Jeans are not recommended as they do not offer adequate protection.
Sturdy, over-the-ankle boots are recommended to protect your feet and ankles in case of a crash.
Gloves with padding and protection for your palms and fingers are essential to protect your hands in case of a fall.
6. Eye Protection
A full-face helmet will provide protection for your eyes, but if you prefer an open-face helmet or riding goggles, make sure they are shatterproof and provide adequate coverage.
7. Rain Gear
Depending on the weather, you may need to pack rain gear to stay dry and comfortable.
Overall, choose gear that is comfortable, fits well, and provides adequate protection for the type of riding you'll be doing. It's better to be over-prepared than under-prepared when it comes to your safety on a motorcycle trip.
If need it we can rent the jacket, pant, gloves and helmet to you.
Have a nice trip :-)
